The 'Must See' of St. Thomas

Magens Bay

The one place that everyone rants and raves about in St. Thomas is Magens Bay.  This beach is considered one of the top 10 prettiest beaches in the WORLD!! And it is very pretty.  It's $4.00 per adult, children over 13-years-old is $2.00, and children under 12-years-old get in free.  Parking is an additional $2.00.

Being at the beach is something that you will want to do all day.  Stay the whole day and check out the  kayaks, paddle boats, or paddle boards that you can rent.  The water here is calm and clear, perfect for paddle boarding.  If you don't already have a underwater camera you NEED to get one and you can by clicking here.

While you're there, don't miss out on the Nature Trail that starts by overlooking Magens Bay and winds about 1.5 miles down to the beach.  Being able to experience the beauty of Magens Bay's surroundings is something that you don't want to miss!

Coral World Ocean Park

At Coral World there are several different ways you can get "up close and personal" with a variety of marine life. Visit the unique underwater observatory and view life on the coral reef, pet a shark, feed a stingray, or swim with sealions!  To learn about prices click here

Virgin Island Ecotours

One of the best ways to explore the island is by kayaking, hiking, and snorkeling.  For 3 hours you can kayak through the islands, hike to breathtaking views of coral beaches, volcanic cliffs, and tidal pools, then finish the day off with snorkeling in some of the clearest water around.  Snorkel gear is provided, but who wants to use snorkel gear that has been in thousands of mouths?? That's why I bought my own snorkel gear.  You can too by clicking here.  It's worth it to have your own.  I also recommend getting some Chaco sandals.  These are perfect for going from kayaking to hiking, to snorkeling in the easiest and most comfortable way.

Magic Ice (Ice Bar and Museum)

Something completely different is the ice bar and museum.  Here you can sit at ice sculptured tables and drink some of your favorite drinks.  You can also wander around the place and take pictures with the life sized ice animals.  You can even slide down the ice slide!! This is something more unique than anything that I have ever experienced.  Make sure you check it out.
